Printed pouches for Auchendinny brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.

Supplement labelling rules for Auchendinny
Supplements sold from Auchendinny must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of Food Standards Scotland. In Midlothian, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff for Midlothian.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Questions from Auchendinny brands
Do I need to be based in Auchendinny to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Auchendinny orders go by tracked courier to EH26.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Are the pouches recyclable?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Who checks supplement labels in Midlothian?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Midlothian, overseen nationally by Food Standards Scotland. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
