Bankwood Gate questions
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Bankwood Gate, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
How many pouches do I need to order?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, use labels on stock pouches.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Bankwood Gate?
Bankwood Gate is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Who enforces food labelling in Derbyshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Derbyshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
