Questions from Barrowby brands
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Barrowby, showing our materials and finishes.
Do I need to be based in Barrowby to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Barrowby orders go by tracked courier to HG3.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Barrowby?
Barrowby is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Are the pouches recyclable?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Printed pouches for Barrowby brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later.
