FAQs for Bassetts Pole
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Bassetts Pole address, showing our materials and finishes.
How many pouches do I need to order?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, label stock pouches instead.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Bassetts Pole?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Bassetts Pole is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Who enforces food labelling in Birmingham?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Birmingham, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.

When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.
