FAQs for Beamish
What’s the lead time for pouches to Beamish?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Beamish is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Beamish?
Beamish is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Who checks supplement labels in County Durham?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for County Durham, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
