Common questions in West Pelton
How long do printed pouches take to reach West Pelton?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to West Pelton is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Who checks supplement labels in County Durham?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for County Durham, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from West Pelton?
West Pelton is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in West Pelton, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Printed pouches for West Pelton brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later.
