Custom supplement pouches for Bedwas brands
Custom printed pouches for Bedwas supplement businesses that have outgrown labelled stock pouches.
Bedwas questions
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Bedwas?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Bedwas is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Bedwas address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Bedwas?
Bedwas is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Printed pouches for Bedwas brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.

Rules in Wales
Labelling law for supplements from Bedwas
Any food supplement sold from Bedwas must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency in Wales. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
Start with our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
