Trethomas questions
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Do I need to be based in Trethomas to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Trethomas orders go by tracked courier to CF83.
Who enforces food labelling in Caerphilly?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Caerphilly, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Trethomas address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Printed pouches for Trethomas brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.
