Questions from Biggar brands
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Do I need to be based in Biggar to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Biggar orders go by tracked delivery to ML12.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Biggar?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Biggar is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Biggar address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Printed pouches for Biggar brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and switch later.

Rules in Scotland
Label rules that apply in Biggar
Supplements sold from Biggar must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of Food Standards Scotland. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for South Lanarkshire.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
