Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Somerset, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
How many pouches do I need to order?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, use labels on stock pouches.
Printed pouches for Blackford brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
