Printed pouches for Blackridge brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.

Rules in Scotland
Label rules that apply in Blackridge
Products you sell from Blackridge must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, overseen by Food Standards Scotland. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for West Lothian.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Blackridge is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do you only work with Blackridge businesses?

Who enforces food labelling in West Lothian?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for West Lothian, with national oversight from Food Standards Scotland. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
