Common questions in Blubberhouses
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
You can choose: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Blubberhouses address, showing our materials and finishes.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Who checks supplement labels in Leeds?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Leeds, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Are the pouches recyclable?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
