Questions from Bobbingworth brands
Do you only work with Bobbingworth businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Bobbingworth deliveries go out by tracked courier to CM5.
Who enforces food labelling in Essex?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Essex, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Bobbingworth?
Bobbingworth is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Printed pouches for Bobbingworth brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
