Bordesley questions
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Bordesley, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Do I need to be based in Bordesley to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Bordesley deliveries go by tracked courier to B48.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
You can choose: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Who enforces food labelling in Worcestershire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Worcestershire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Printed pouches for Bordesley brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later.
