Supplement labelling rules for Bryncir
Products you sell from Bryncir must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency in Wales. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
Start with our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Printed pouches for Bryncir brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.

Questions from Bryncir brands
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, label stock pouches instead.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
You can choose: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
Do you only work with Bryncir businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Bryncir orders go by tracked delivery to LL51.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Bryncir address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
