Burnhouse questions
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Burnhouse, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Do you only work with Burnhouse businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Burnhouse deliveries go by tracked courier to KA15.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Burnhouse?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Burnhouse is usually the next working day after dispatch.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Burnhouse?
Burnhouse is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Printed pouches for Burnhouse brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.

Rules in Scotland
Supplement labelling rules for Burnhouse
Any food supplement sold from Burnhouse must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by Food Standards Scotland. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
