Printed supplement pouches in Carbost
Digitally printed stand-up pouches for supplement businesses in Carbost and across Highland, in short runs with your label design printed straight onto the pack.
Printed pouches for Carbost brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.

Carbost questions
Do I need to be based in Carbost to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Carbost orders go out by tracked delivery to IV47.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, use labels on stock pouches.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Who enforces food labelling in Highland?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Highland, with national oversight from Food Standards Scotland. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Carbost?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Carbost is usually two working days after dispatch.
Rules in Scotland
Supplement labelling rules for Carbost
Supplements sold from Carbost must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of Food Standards Scotland. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
