Custom supplement pouches for Clestrain brands
Custom printed pouches for Clestrain supplement businesses that have outgrown labelled stock pouches.
Printed pouches for Clestrain brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.

Rules in Scotland
Label rules that apply in Clestrain
Any food supplement sold from Clestrain must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of Food Standards Scotland. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for the Orkney Islands.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Clestrain questions
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
Do I need to be based in Clestrain to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Clestrain orders go by tracked courier to KW17.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Clestrain address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, label stock pouches instead.
Who checks supplement labels in the Orkney Islands?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for the Orkney Islands, with national oversight from Food Standards Scotland. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
