Rules in Wales
Labelling law for supplements from Coedpoeth
Supplements sold from Coedpoeth must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency in Wales. In Wrexham, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Coedpoeth questions
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, use labels on stock pouches.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Coedpoeth?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Coedpoeth is usually the next working day after dispatch.
