FAQs for Minera
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Minera address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Do I need to be based in Minera to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Minera deliveries go out by tracked delivery to LL11.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Minera?
Minera is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Printed pouches for Minera brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and switch later.

Rules in Wales
Label rules that apply in Minera
Supplements sold from Minera must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency in Wales. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
