Rules in Scotland
Label rules that apply in Craigo
Any food supplement sold from Craigo must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of Food Standards Scotland. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff for Aberdeenshire.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Printed pouches for Craigo brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.
