Common questions in Crosslee
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Crosslee address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Do you only work with Crosslee businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Crosslee deliveries go by tracked courier to PA6.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Crosslee?
Crosslee is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, label stock pouches instead.
Printed pouches for Crosslee brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.

Rules in Scotland
Label rules that apply in Crosslee
Products you sell from Crosslee must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, overseen by Food Standards Scotland. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Renfrewshire.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
