Houston questions
Do you only work with Houston businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Houston deliveries go out by tracked delivery to PA6.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Houston?
Houston is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Houston?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Houston is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Printed pouches for Houston brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.

Rules in Scotland
Label rules that apply in Houston
Any food supplement sold from Houston must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, overseen by Food Standards Scotland. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for Renfrewshire.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
