Custom printed pouches for Dalserf supplement brands that have outgrown labelled stock pouches.
FAQs for Dalserf
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Dalserf?
Dalserf is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, use labels on stock pouches.
Who checks supplement labels in South Lanarkshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for South Lanarkshire, with national oversight from Food Standards Scotland. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Printed pouches for Dalserf brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
