Drongan questions
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Drongan?
Drongan is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Drongan address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, use labels on stock pouches.
Are the pouches recyclable?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Printed pouches for Drongan brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later.

Rules in Scotland
Supplement labelling rules for Drongan
Products you sell from Drongan must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, overseen by Food Standards Scotland. In South Ayrshire, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for South Ayrshire.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
