Common questions in Eardisley
Who enforces food labelling in Herefordshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Herefordshire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Eardisley address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Are the pouches recyclable?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, use labels on stock pouches.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Printed pouches for Eardisley brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
