Common questions in East Bridgford
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Who enforces food labelling in Nottinghamshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Nottinghamshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your East Bridgford address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from East Bridgford?
East Bridgford is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
How many pouches do I need to order?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, use labels on stock pouches.
Printed pouches for East Bridgford brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and switch later.
