East Hill questions
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from East Hill?
East Hill is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
You can choose: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Who checks supplement labels in Kent?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Kent, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your East Hill address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
