FAQs for Elberton
Do you only work with Elberton businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Elberton orders go out by tracked delivery to BS35.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Elberton?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Elberton is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Who enforces food labelling in South Gloucestershire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for South Gloucestershire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Elberton?
Elberton is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Printed pouches for Elberton brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later.
