Elrig questions
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you only work with Elrig businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Elrig orders go out by tracked delivery to DG8.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, label stock pouches instead.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Who checks supplement labels in Dumfries and Galloway?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Dumfries and Galloway, with national oversight from Food Standards Scotland. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Printed pouches for Elrig brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
