Supplement labelling rules for Felindre
Products you sell from Felindre must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for Powys.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.

Printed pouches for Felindre brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.

Common questions in Felindre
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Do I need to be based in Felindre to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Felindre orders go by tracked courier to LD3.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Felindre address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
