Questions from Frenchay brands
Who checks supplement labels in South Gloucestershire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for South Gloucestershire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Frenchay, showing our materials and finishes.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Frenchay?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Frenchay is usually the next working day after dispatch.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, label stock pouches instead.
Printed pouches for Frenchay brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
