Questions from Gilling East brands
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Gilling East?
Gilling East is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Gilling East?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Gilling East is usually the next working day after dispatch.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Printed pouches for Gilling East brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later.
