Printed supplement pouches in Gilwern

Printed pouches for Gilwern brands

When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.

Rules in Wales

Label rules that apply in Gilwern

Any food supplement sold from Gilwern must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for Monmouthshire.

Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.

A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
