Questions from Glandwr brands
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, label stock pouches instead.
Who enforces food labelling in Blaenau Gwent?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Blaenau Gwent, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency in Wales. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Glandwr?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Glandwr is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Glandwr?
Glandwr is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Printed pouches for Glandwr brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
