Gretna Green questions
Do you send samples?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Gretna Green address, showing our materials and finishes.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Gretna Green?
Gretna Green is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 apply, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Who checks supplement labels in Dumfries and Galloway?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Dumfries and Galloway, with national oversight from Food Standards Scotland. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do I need to be based in Gretna Green to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Gretna Green deliveries go by tracked courier to DG16.
