Harbury questions
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Harbury, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
How many pouches do I need to order?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, label stock pouches instead.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Harbury?
Harbury is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Printed pouches for Harbury brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
