Hareshaw questions
Do you only work with Hareshaw businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Hareshaw deliveries go by tracked delivery to ML1.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Hareshaw address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Hareshaw?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Hareshaw is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Hareshaw?
Hareshaw is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Printed pouches for Hareshaw brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later.

Rules in Scotland
Labelling law for supplements from Hareshaw
Supplements sold from Hareshaw must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of Food Standards Scotland. In North Lanarkshire, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
