Questions from Hastigrow brands
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, label stock pouches instead.
Who enforces food labelling in Highland?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Highland, with national oversight from Food Standards Scotland. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Are the pouches recyclable?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Hastigrow, showing our materials and finishes.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Hastigrow?
Hastigrow is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Printed pouches for Hastigrow brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later.

Supplements sold from Hastigrow must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by Food Standards Scotland. Locally, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff for Highland.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
