FAQs for Hicks Forstal
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Hicks Forstal address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Hicks Forstal?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Hicks Forstal is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Who enforces food labelling in Kent?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Kent, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
You can choose: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Printed pouches for Hicks Forstal brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and switch later.
