FAQs for Hill
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Who checks supplement labels in Pembrokeshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Pembrokeshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Hill address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
You can choose: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Printed pouches for Hill brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
