Hud Hey questions
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Hud Hey, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
How many pouches do I need to order?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, label stock pouches instead.
Who enforces food labelling in Lancashire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Lancashire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Printed pouches for Hud Hey brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and switch later.
