Custom supplement pouches for Huggate brands
Custom printed pouches for Huggate supplement businesses that have outgrown labelled stock pouches.
Printed pouches for Huggate brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Huggate is about 6 miles north-east of Pocklington, in East Riding of Yorkshire. We deliver to homes, units and offices across the area, from Stocks Hill and Driffield Road outwards. Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Huggate
Any food supplement sold from Huggate must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. In East Riding of Yorkshire, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

FAQs for Huggate
Are the pouches recyclable?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
Who enforces food labelling in East Riding of Yorkshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for East Riding of Yorkshire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you only work with Huggate businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Huggate orders go out by tracked courier to YO42.
