FAQs for Ivychurch
Who enforces food labelling in Kent?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Kent, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
You can choose: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Ivychurch, showing our materials and finishes.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Ivychurch?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Ivychurch is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Printed pouches for Ivychurch brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and switch later.
