Keelby questions
Who checks supplement labels in North East Lincolnshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for North East Lincolnshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Keelby?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Keelby is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do I need to be based in Keelby to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Keelby deliveries go by tracked delivery to DN41.
Are the pouches recyclable?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Printed pouches for Keelby brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and switch later.
