FAQs for Little Bristol
Who checks supplement labels in Gloucestershire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Gloucestershire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Little Bristol?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Little Bristol is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do I need to be based in Little Bristol to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Little Bristol deliveries go out by tracked courier to GL12.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Printed pouches for Little Bristol brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Still testing a product?
