Questions from Long Whatton brands
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, use labels on stock pouches.
Who enforces food labelling in Leicestershire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Leicestershire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Long Whatton, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do I need to be based in Long Whatton to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Long Whatton orders go out by tracked courier to LE12.
