Printed supplement pouches in Longhirst
Printed pouches for powders, gummies and capsules, delivered to Longhirst with the artwork checked against the rules.
Printed pouches for Longhirst brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.

Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Longhirst
Any food supplement sold from Longhirst must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff for Northumberland.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Common questions in Longhirst
Do you only work with Longhirst businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Longhirst orders go by tracked courier to NE61.
Are the pouches recyclable?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Longhirst?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Longhirst is usually the next working day after dispatch.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Longhirst address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
