Common questions in Loughton
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Loughton?
Loughton is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Who checks supplement labels in Shropshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Shropshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, label stock pouches instead.
Do you only work with Loughton businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Loughton deliveries go by tracked courier to WV16.
Printed pouches for Loughton brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
