Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.

Common questions in Macduff
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Who checks supplement labels in Aberdeenshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Aberdeenshire, overseen nationally by Food Standards Scotland. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Macduff?

Do you only work with Macduff businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Macduff orders go by tracked delivery to AB44.
